Thank you for your support of the Louviers Rural Community, including DuPont Park and Open Space, Cherokee Ridge Estates, Banbury Cross, Range, and Louviers Village.
Our community is suing Douglas County and Brannan Companies to reverse the county commissioner’s recent decision to approve the construction of a new asphalt plant near our precious public amenities, parks and homes.
The suit contends that the county commissioners abused their discretion by approving this project in the face of incontrovertible evidence that it does not comply with the Douglas County Zoning Resolution. We won a similar lawsuit in 2022 and shut down Brannan’s concrete crushing operations. We intend to do the same to stop the asphalt plant and force Douglas County to follow their own rules.
To win, we need your help. If every household donates just $100 a month to our legal defense, we’ll have more than enough funding to win this battle.
